Alice in Wonderland - the premiere piece in the collection - is faithfully based on the original Tenniel images and vividly brought to life by R. JOHN WRIGHT DOLLS.

Standing approximately 17" tall, Alice is fully jointed and made entirely of the finest all-wool felt incorporating a realistic sculptural body and a compelling portrait face with hand painted features. Her lovely hands have individual fingers and she has a meticulously hand-rooted mohair wig. Lewis Carroll's beloved heroine is dressed in the trademark Victorian dress tailored of custom-dyed felt topped by a cotton pinafore trimmed in silk. Around her waist is a matching silk sash. Alice wears custom-made cotton stockings and hand cobbled leather slippers. As a final perfect touch, at her throat is a custom-made gold-plated brooch engraved with the letter "A".

Alice is produced in a limited edition of 750 pieces worldwide. She will come enclosed in a deluxe presentation box gilt-embellished with original Tenniel artwork. Included will be the accompanying signed and numbered certificate of authenticity and the forms for owner registration.

Based faithfully on the immortal books written by Lewis Carroll and illustrated by Sir John Tenniel, The March Hare will stand approximately 16" tall. He will be fully jointed and constructed of the finest mohair plush and felt with a molded character head with hand painted inset leather eyes, embroidered features, inserted whiskers, and felt "human-style" hands with individual fingers. Authentic down to the last detail, The March Hare appears as Alice saw him at the Mad Tea-Party dressed in a tailored, fully-lined felt jacket, fitted polka dot waistcoat, necktie, and striped felt trousers. Just as in Tenniel's illustrations, a scattering of straw lies askew on the top of his head.

We are pleased to announce the addition of The Queen of Hearts to the R. John Wright ALICE IN WONDERLAND COLLECTION. Authentically based on Sir John Tenniel's classic illustrations, The Queen of Hearts will stand a formidable 20" tall. She will be fully jointed and constructed of the finest all wool felt with an amazing molded character head with intaglio eyes, open mouth, hand painted features, a wig made of the finest mohair will frame her face, and her expressive felt hands will feature individual fingers.

The Queen of Heart's incredibly detailed costume will consist of a regal robe emblazoned with a printed and pieced felt geometric design in heraldic hues. She will have cotton undergarments, tights, and laced period slippers on her feet. The amazing headdress will include a crown and wimple made of stiffened buckram and felt. Exactly as shown in the classic illustrations, drop-shape earrings will dangle from each ear. In one hand The Queen of Hearts will hold her heart-shaped fan constructed of wood and felt.
