A series of original bears titled the BEARS-AT-SEA!
This collection will consist of three nautical bears of differing rank:
Bear Bo-sun; Bear Captain; and Bear Admiral.
Each bear in the series will be made of the finest alpaca plush with a
character face, glass eyes, leather nose, resin claws and felt paw pads.
Self-standing and fully-jointed, these seafaring fellows will
feature exquisitely tailored felt costumes and custom accessories.
The "RJW" brass button will be affixed to each bear as a
lasting guarantee of authenticity.

The Bear Admiral

Worldwide Limited Edition of 250 - $875.00

Measuring a height 23" standing - The Bear Admiral is the largest RJW production bear ever made.

He is fully jointed and made of the finest custom-made white alpaca plush. Detailed felt paw pads and individually inserted resin claws give the Admiral a realistic charm. His wonderful character face features blue glass pupil eyes and a molded leather nose. He will be outfitted in a detailed Admiral's swallow-tail military jacket fully lined in polished cotton and embellished with gilt epaulettes, braid, and brass buttons. On his head is an authentically designed Admiral's hat constructed of felt with gilt trim and an elaborate felt feather.

The Bear Captain

The Bear Captain is fully jointed and made of the finest custom-made gray alpaca plush. Detailed felt paw pads and individually inserted resin claws give the Captain his realistic charm. His wonderful character face features black glass eyes and a molded leather nose. He will be handsomely outfitted in a fully-lined navy blue double-breasted topcoat with brass buttons, braid trim, and a matching detailed captain's cap with a leather brim. Around his neck, the Captain will sport an authentic and beautifully detailed pair of binoculars complete with glass lenses!

Bo-Sun

Worldwide Limited Edition of 250 - $700.00

Measuring a height 21" standing - Bo-Sun is fully jointed and made of the finest custom-made soft medium brown alpaca plush. Detailed felt paw pads and individually inserted resin claws give Bo-Sun his realistic charm. His wonderful character face features warm brown glass pupil eyes and a hand painted brown leather nose.

As the lowest member of the crew, Bo-Sun comes dressed in traditional sailor garb consisting of authentically detailed light blue and navy felt sailor shirt with pocket, felt trim and tie, and classic "bakelite-style" anchor buttons. A jaunty matching sailor cap with wool pom-pom completes his outfit.

The Pirate King

Our seafaring bears will encounter a formidable group of pirates on the high seas! Their leader, the Pirate King, is the premiere pirate character in the Bears-at-Sea Collection.

Measuring an impressive 23" standing - the Pirate King is fully jointed and made of the finest custom-made black alpaca plush with detailed shading. His felt paw pads and individually inserted resin claws give the Pirate King a menacing realism. His wonderful character face features blue glass pupil eyes and a molded leather nose. He will be outfitted in a fully lined brocade waistcoat and detailed Great Coat embellished with pockets, gilt braid trim, and brass buttons. Around his neck is a leather baldric belt studded with brass "RJW" buttons and on his head is an authentically designed leather pirate's hat.
